MY NAME IS ALLIYAH AND THESE ARE MY THINGS! My own journey of experiencing life has led me to discover new things about myself and the life we live. This propels me to share with others the various modalities and things that have helped and continue to help me along the way through the ebbs and flows of life.
Alliyah and Things is a Female, Black, Latinx, Indigenous-owned sustainable home and wellness shop. We sell a compilation of eco-friendly, carefully selected, ethically sourced, handmade items for your mind, body, soul, and home.
We value creating and promoting a positive impact on not only the environment but the community through our creations. This is why we PARTNERED WITH ONE TREE PLANTED, TO PLANT ONE TREE PER SALE.
LOVE PEOPLE, USE THINGS are the bases of our ethos. We strive to create a space where people can have access to information about all things sustainability, self-love, and travel. As well as providing thoughtfully handcrafted pieces to assist in one’s own journey to invite more intentionally made things to their homes and hearts.
THINGS HOLD ENERGY that is why it is vital to invite things that hold good energy, love, and joy into your home and heart.
One tree will be planted for each sale!
We have partnered with the non-profit organization One Tree Planted to help in the efforts of reforestation throughout the globe. Each year we will donate $1 per sale to One Tree Planted, which plants trees throughout North America, South America, Africa, and Asia.
This is the general breakdown of how the $1 is used to plant a tree
$.50 -.85 for one tree sapling to be grown at a nursery
$.20 – $.30 per tree to be planted
$.08 – $.20 per tree average with transport costs, material costs
$.10 – $.22 ongoing maintenance of trees
$.12 – $.15 operating costs
$.03 – $.05 credit card processing fees, transaction costs
Why trees you may ask?
Well, trees help to purify the air, clean the water we drink, prevent erosions, and create the home to millions of different species that promotes the diverse biodiversity on the planet. Without trees, there would be no humans, and what better way to make a positive impact for ALL than to support the one thing that we all need, which is trees.
This means that when you support Alliyah And Things you are also supporting the efforts to give back to Mother Nature and the community.

I actually ordered these to use for dishwashing since I'm trying to cut out plastic and artificial sponges. They're soft, I might use the second one I got in the shower! Though at the same time they're good on scrubbing dishes and surfaces too. I could use these for cleaning pretty much anything. 🙂
I use this product in the evening before I go to bed and it just makes your skin feel and look beautiful.
